attached mail follows:

Hello hostmaster,

the NetCologne GmbH is a local telephone company and ISP in Germany.
We maintain a mirror server which hosts several open source projects
like Debian Linux, knoppix, opensolaris or also Mozilla software. We
would like to be listed as official FreeBSD mirror as well.
I set up an rsync towards "ftp.de.freebsd.org" which is now in sync.
As stated in the documenation I setup a sync every 24 hrs.

The machine mirror.netcologne.de is connected via 1Gbit/s for IPv4 and
another 1Gbit/s for IPv6 traffic (rsync toward ftp.de.freebsd.org goes
through IPv6 apparently).

the FreeBSD ressources are reachable via:

http://mirror.netcologne.de/freebsd
ftp://mirror.netcologne.de/freebsd/
rsync://mirror.netcologne.de/freebsd

Traffic is unlimited, as long as 1Gbit/s is enough for you.

If this offer is acceptable, please add us with a DNS entry to the
list of available mirrors. If there is anything wrong or anything else
we could offer, please contact me directly or
mirror-service(at)netcologne.de

Regards from Cologne, Germany,
